Our Story

InternationalTravel.ai evolved out of Expat Exchange, which was founded in 1997 and widely adopted by expatriates, digital nomads and retirees all over the world. It was among the first sites dedicated to expatriates and their specific needs.

We're excited to introduce InternationalTravel.ai, a natural extension of the our community, dedicated to helping people explore the world, both near and far.

Our goal has never changed since we first launched more than 25 years ago. We set out to create a platform that empowers members to help one another. So when someone decides to explore another country, they can benefit from the wisdom gleaned by and other members who have already been there and done that.

In other words, InternationalTravel.ai isn't just for finding what you need... it's also about helping others along the way. Members generously share their knowledge by answering questions throughout the site and on our Country Forums. They often find that taking the time to make someone else's journey easier makes the entire experience more rewarding.
