Viljandi is a medieval town in southern Estonia centered around the ruins of Viljandi Castle, which overlooks the town from a hilltop and dates back to the 14th century. The town's main commercial and cultural hub is Kauba Street, lined with shops, cafés, and restaurants, while the picturesque Old Town features narrow streets and traditional architecture around the Town Hall Square.
