The region also benefits from locally-run health services that offer a range of services from preventative health education to specialized care. Also, the Province of British Columbia covers essential medical services for everyone who lives in the province. Some services like dental care and eye exams are only available for a fee. Overall, Vancouver's healthcare system has been rated one of the best in North America," said another expat in Vancouver, Canada.
