"Occasionally however most is of a petty nature based on lax security on the part of the victim however there is a new threat slowly emerging with home invasion but still quite rare," remarked another expat who made the move to Potrerillos, Chiriqui, Panama.
"No. But there are petty crooks here and there, and they do pay attention to "rich" Americans," explained one expat living in Las Tablas, Panama.
