" Do not come to Cuenca looking for beach weather; mostly it is cooler here. We are now in the Spring-Summer season now. It goes to 70's during the day, but down to 50 at night. Now it is 58. No snow, and you're not scraping ice off your window, but the weather is mild spring," explained one expat living in Ecuador.
"As I'm sure you already know much of Southern Ecuador experiences a rainy and a dry season. The dry season is approximately June through September, while the rainy season is approximately October through May. I actually check the radar on weather.com and find it to be relatively accurate. Right now we are in the middle of rainy season which mostly means daily showers late in the afternoon," said another in Malacatos, Ecuador.
